Brand new High Definition Video Camera.

True SXGA 1280 x 1024 Resolution.

We now are offering a very unique SXGA (1280x1024) Color CMOS (1/2.5") C-mount camera that will be ideal for teaching environments and industrial microscopy imaging.   The 24-bit color camera simply connects to any PC monitor (put old CRT's back to use!) with the usual HD 15-pin input....no PC connection is required.   This is the ideal camera for multiple users who only need to bring along a standard SD Card (a 1GB SD card comes with each camera) to capture their images and download later via a SD card reader on their PC or MAC.

Another big benefit is the on-screen menu (placed in a small box in the lower right hand corner of the display screen)  that allows the user to set up white balance, gain, color adjustments, brightness and contrast.   The microscopist can also introduce a black or white crossline that is useful for counting and industrial inspections.   The camera has a gain control as well as automatic setting so that it can be used with darkfield, phase contrast, DIC and even bright fluorescence.   A tethered remote shutter release is included and permits vibration free image capture once the photo is composed, focused and properly set up for Koehler etc......each image is saved as a .bmp file on the SD card.    This camera offers more than twice the performance of even the best VGA analog color cameras.
